NEW YORK – Fou Gallery is delighted to share tea ceremony with Wix Academy at the reunion event of Wix Design Playground Alumnus 2018. With tea practitioners Lanzhi Dai and Chunli Ma, we presented three types of tea from Wuyishan and Red Oolong from Taiwan, and enjoy the unique gathering together.
Tea was and remains a central piece in the Asian cultures, especially in China where it first originated. Tea ceremony was born as a result of the respect for nature, pursuit for inner peace, appreciation for art, and enjoyment of social gathering. To the literati and officialdom of ancient China, tea represented “elegance, harmony, friendliness, and grace”. The act of tea drinking was a way in which one could “cultivate the mind and improve moral integrity” and it was admired as a drink that was pure of content and consisting of elegant qualities.

Fou Gallery很荣幸在2018年Wix设计游乐场校友会的重聚活动中为Wix学院策划和举办茶道分享会。我们与茶人兰芝和春燕一起呈现了来自台湾武夷山的三种茶和台湾红乌龙，并一同享受独特的聚会时光。
茶曾经并且仍是亚洲文化核心的一部分，特别是在其最初起源地中国。茶道诞生于对自然的尊重，对内心平静的追求，对艺术的欣赏，以及社交聚会的享受。于中国古代的文人和官仕而言，茶代表着“雅致，和谐，友善，文雅”。饮茶是一种可以“培养心灵，提高道德品质”的行为方式，并且它被誉为内容纯粹和品质优雅的饮品。
