Paper Lamp Workshop by COMO DEMO studio is a quiet, hands-on gathering that invites you to slow down and create with intention. Over the course of 2 unhurried hours, a small group sits together around a circular table, shaping sculptural paper lamps in a shared atmosphere of calm and focus.
Welcoming to all yet rich in depth, the workshop offers an experience that is both accessible and quietly transformative, leaving each participant with something beautiful and lasting. Gentle enough for beginners yet engaging for any creative spirit, it opens space for personal expression to unfold. Step by step, you are guided through folding, shaping, and assembling—moving in your own time, letting the rhythm of your hands set the pace.
The intimate group size fosters meaningful interaction, while the circular format removes hierarchy and creates a space where conversation flows easily and quiet moments feel just as welcome.
More than a craft, this is a ceremonial moment—an invitation to reconnect with your hands, co-create in presence, and trust your own creative rhythm. Each participant leaves with a softly glowing lamp, carrying the imprint of care, time, and attention.
At the end of the workshop, all the participants share hand-made cold-brewed Japanese tea together for reflections and integration.
Instructor
Luciana Perez is an artist and creative director whose work moves at the intersection of art, ceremony, and community-building. As the founder of COMO DEMO, the core of her evolving practice, she creates experiences that feel both expansive and deeply grounded. Drawing on her background in art direction, visual storytelling, and event curation, as well as years of experience in tea and matcha ceremony, Luciana integrates practices of presence and connection into her workshops and creative projects. COMO DEMO is a circle that emerges wherever it is called—beneath trees, beside rivers, on rooftops, beaches, in galleries, or borrowed rooms—offering serene pockets of stillness amid the city’s restless pace. Through hands-on workshops, site-specific installations, and interactive experiences, Luciana invites participants to slow down, engage deeply, and explore art and community in intentional ways. Each project is designed to inspire curiosity, foster collaboration, and transform ideas into tangible, meaningful experiences.
