Crystal Reiki Sound Bath and Evening Tea
2-Hour Experience
*Please wear comfortable clothing for the event. Cushions, yoga mats, blankets and eye coverings will be provided. Participants are welcome to bring their own yoga mat and additional covering if preferred.
This intimate evening workshop invites participants to slow down, reconnect and heal with Sound and Crystal Reiki Energy Healing. This Sound and Vibrational Healing experience is created by using Himalayan Singing Bowls, Crystal Singing Bowls, Ring Bowls and Chimes, all introduced by the soft rhythms of the Ocean Drum. Guests are guided into a meditative soundscape where resonance and stillness naturally bring the mind and body into balance.
Integrating the principles of Crystal Reiki with sacred sound, this session works to attune the body’s energy channels (chakras and meridians), release stagnation, and support emotional clarity. As participants rest comfortably, Mel channels universal life-force energy and places crystals directly on or near the body to deepen the energetic clearing process. Many find the session promotes profound relaxation, emotional release, inner peace, and an overall sense of harmony.
To close the evening, guests gather for a handcrafted herbal tea — a simple, grounding ritual that encourages integration and gentle reflection before returning to the pace of the outside world.

Sound Healing Safety & Participation Disclosure
Sound healing sessions may involve the use of Himalayan singing bowls placed on or near the body, creating both audible sound and vibrational effects. By participating, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
On-Body Sound Considerations
Singing bowls will not be placed on:
* areas of the body with recent surgery (within the past 3 months)
* areas with metal implants (plates, rods, etc.)
* the abdomen during pregnancy
* the chest/heart area for individuals with pacemakers
Please inform the practitioner of any relevant conditions prior to the session.
Sound Sensitivity
These sessions may include loud, high-frequency, or vibrational sounds from instruments such as singing bowls, gongs, and drums. Participation may not be suitable for individuals with sound sensitivity or certain neurological conditions (such as epilepsy, Tourette’s syndrome, or similar conditions that may be triggered by sound or vibration).
If you have any medical concerns, please consult with a healthcare provider and inform the practitioner prior to the session.
Participation & Setup
Participants may lie down on the floor or sit in a chair. Mats, pillows, blankets, and eye coverings are provided. Please wear comfortable clothing (avoid front zippers or buttons if possible).

By attending, you voluntarily participate and assume responsibility for your own well-being during the session.
Personal Belongings
Please bring minimal belongings. The venue and practitioner are not responsible for lost or unattended items.

Mel Rio is a certified Sound and Vibrational Healing Practitioner, Usui Reiki Master, and Crystal Energy Healer, as well as the founder of The Singing Bowl Sound Bath Studio, LLC. in New York City. Her work combines the artistry of Himalayan singing bowls with the energetic principles of Reiki and crystal healing to create immersive sound meditations designed to restore balance, clarity, and stillness. Through years of exploring how frequency, breath, and energy interact, Mel developed her signature modality, Sonic Crystal Reiki — a harmonious blend of sound vibration and targeted crystal placement that aligns the chakras and promotes emotional and physical well-being.
