In dreams, logic dissolves and color takes over—snow can be golden, tigers can bloom roses, and birds can carry entire skies on their wings. What color is a bird in your dream? Gold-striped with violet wings? Rose-bellied with a sky across its back?
This workshop invites you to give form to the creatures that live in the liminal space between sleep and waking.Glaze your own dream bird and take it home.
Each participant will work with a hand-crafted porcelain bird, created in advance by artist Sascha Mallon. These delicate forms serve as a blank canvas for personal mythology, ready to be adorned with professional glazes, intricate patterns, and secret inscriptions.
What to Expect
A quiet, small‑group experience inside the exhibition Dreamscape where Sascha Mallon’s work is shown.
No experience needed. Your finished bird will be kiln-fired by the artist and ready for pickup at the gallery in 2 weeks— a one-of-a-kind keepsake carrying a little piece of your dreams beyond the gallery walls. We can also ship the work to you at a general shipping cost.
