Includes complimentary tea and seasonal handmade Japanese sweets by YoshiAn Wagashi
The Paper Lamp Workshop by COMO DEMO at Fou Gallery invites a private group into a shared, intentional experience. Each session is shaped by the energy and intention of those present, with the tone set collectively and guided by artist Luciana Perez through thoughtful curation and process.
Create your own sculptural paper lamp in this two-hour, artist-led experience. Be gently guided through building, and assembling your own paper lamp while exploring your own creative ideas and working intuitively with the material.
Move at your own pace through a meditative, hands-on process that encourages curiosity, experimentation, and personal expression. Some comfort working with your hands may be helpful, though no prior experience is required.
Leave with a fully functional paper lamp, handmade by you, an object that carries the time, care, and intention invested in its making.
At the workshop, all the participants share hand-made tea with natural ingredients, and seasonal handmade Japanese sweets by YoshiAn Wagashi together for reflections and integration. We can customize the sweets option to your group’s need.
Instructor
Luciana Perez is an artist and creative director whose work moves at the intersection of art, ceremony, and community-building. As the founder of COMO DEMO, the core of her evolving practice, she creates experiences that feel both expansive and deeply grounded. Drawing on her background in art direction, visual storytelling, and event curation, as well as years of experience in tea and matcha ceremony, Luciana integrates practices of presence and connection into her workshops and creative projects. COMO DEMO is a circle that emerges wherever it is called—beneath trees, beside rivers, on rooftops, beaches, in galleries, or borrowed rooms—offering serene pockets of stillness amid the city’s restless pace. Through hands-on workshops, site-specific installations, and interactive experiences, Luciana invites participants to slow down, engage deeply, and explore art and community in intentional ways. Each project is designed to inspire curiosity, foster collaboration, and transform ideas into tangible, meaningful experiences.
