Water Nymph by Phoenix Botanicals

from $48.00

Featured notes: Citron, Lime, Litsea, Water Lily and Leaf, Jonquille, Celery, Wetland Roots of Iris and Calamus.

A freshwater citrus floral inspired by swimming in a wild pond thick with water lilies.

It opens like bright, sugared lemonade from wild white water lily, then unfolds into lush florals of jonquil and soft tropical notes. Green facets of leaf and stem add a crisp lift, while iris and calamus settle into a damp, earthy base, like the scent left on your skin after a summer swim.

Inspired by nymphs, spirits of place, and by the dragonfly’s “nymph” stage, when it lives underwater for years before emerging briefly to take flight. A memory of exploring around beaver dens, watching dragonflies land on lily pads, and drifting through a secluded upstate New York pond alive with sunlit, floating scents.

Phoenix Botanicals natural perfumes are inspired by landscape stories and connection with flora and fauna felt through the senses and transforming cinematically over time. The founder Irina Adam’s artwork explores threads of dialogue with nature, in immersive and reciprocal ways. Recent projects include a series of local wild places wandered and closely observed over years and seasons, transformed by climate change and human activity, comprising photo series and olfactory art.
